Okeh Bakery: A Taste of Home, Baked Fresh in Warsaw

In a cozy corner of Warsaw, there’s a small bakery where every bun, every cup of coffee, every slice of cake, and every cup of matcha carries a story. This is Okeh Bakery—not just a place to eat, but a place to feel good.

The heart behind it? A pair of passionate owners from Hanoi, Vietnam, who have spent over 10 years baking, experimenting, and dreaming. After years of crafting cakes, buns, and sweet things in their home kitchen, they finally had the chance to open a bakery in Poland—one with an Asian twist and a whole lot of heart.

But they didn’t do it alone. With the support of good friends, the dream started taking shape. Artem, the magic hands behind our bread, puts love into every loaf—his sourdough tells its own story. And Ania—our calm soul and superwoman—brings light, kindness, and great conversation to everyone who walks through the door. Okeh Bakery is built on these people, and that’s what makes it real.

We started from zero—literally—in December. Opening a shop wasn’t easy. Renovation struggles, broken tools, time delays, and budget stress almost wore us down. But we reminded ourselves: don’t give up. Thanks to helping hands from friends—painting tables, hanging lights, fixing mirrors, even sketching out the menu by hand—we finally opened our doors on March 21st, 2025. Eventually, everything is Okeh.

And here’s the thing: nothing in Okeh is perfect. And that’s exactly how we want it. Everything you see here is handmade, from the food to the furniture. We’re not chasing trends or copying concepts—we’re just creating a space that feels honest, cozy, and casual.

There is No Concept. It's just Okeh!

Some people ask, “Is this a Japanese café?” “Is this Korean-inspired?” We smile and say: there’s no concept—it’s just Okeh. A place where you can sip coffee on a sunny afternoon, or tuck into cake while watching raindrops hit the window. A place that feels like home, even if it’s your first time walking in.

And yes, we love good drinks just as much as good pastries. Every recipe is tested and tasted until it feels just right. From our specialty espresso blend to our creamy Matcha Cloud, we strive to serve some of the best matcha taste in Warsaw. From secret seasonal drinks like  Matcha Mango or Matcha Strawberry to our wild creation, the Pistachio Matcha Affogato, made with real crunchy pistachio ice cream—every drink is made with care.
